Community Code of Conduct
“This is less legal and more cultural. It sets the tone for the village.”
The Mama Network: Village Rules
Our goal is to build a safe, calm, and judgment-free village. To keep this space sacred, all members must adhere to this Code of Conduct.
1. The Golden Rule: Kindness and Non-Judgment
Motherhood is hard enough. We have zero tolerance for shaming, judgment, or aggressive behavior. Whether a mom chooses breast or bottle, sleep training or co-sleeping, we support her, not just her methods.
2. Confidentiality is Sacred
What happens in the Village stays in the Village.
- Do not screenshot private conversations.
- Do not share another mother’s personal story outside of this community.
Violation of this rule may result in an immediate ban.
3. No Medical Advice
Unless you are a verified expert in a designated Q&A session, do not give medical advice.
- Allowed: “This worked for me” or “My doctor suggested.”
- Not Allowed: Directive diagnosis or treatment instructions for other members.
4. No Solicitation or Spam
We are a clutter-free space.
- Do not use the network to sell products or services via direct messages.
- Do not harvest members’ data for your own business.
5. Respect the Experts
Our experts give their time generously. Please respect boundaries. Do not DM experts for private free consultations; use designated Q&A channels.
6. Conflict Resolution
If you feel unsafe or see a post that violates these rules, do not engage. Report it and contact moderation immediately.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in a warning or permanent removal from The Mama Network.
